Vanity Groups

I recently applied to a 'Vanity' group (you may know it, it's called Bebo Vanity (http://www.bebo.com/bebovanity)) and I was accepted! This shocked me complety, I didn't actualy think I'd get in, but I have the email to prove it. So after sitting in shock for a few second I went onto the site. Now be warned - this isn't just directed at the people on 'Bebo Vanity', but any sort of 'Vanity' group. Why do people create these things? Isn't it kind of idoitic? We get judged everyday anyway, no one can help that, so why put yourself foward so you can judged some more? Why do you need some person sitting on a computer telling you if you 'Perfect' or not? And if you are that person - why do you put people through that? Why do you need to give people whom you consider 'beautiful' that so-called power to rule over other people? And why must you crush other people who might look just fine, but are not 'Perfect' in your eyes? I mean, how can anyone know what this perfect thing is anyway? And why do we listen to people who define it? So I left the group, leaving a comment. I don't need someone to tell me how ugly ot beautiful I may or may not be, I have a world to do that for me, plus myself. I don't need something to be added onto the list.
